About the Role 
We’re looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to help expand rekroot’s reach, build lasting relationships with prospective clients, and drive revenue growth. Key Responsibilities 

Client Acquisition: Identify, target, and secure new clients in the financial services industry who need help recruiting advisors or staff. 
Sales Ownership: Take full responsibility for meeting personal sales goals, while maintaining a long-term vision of leading overall sales activities for the organization. 
Partnerships:Work with strategic partners rekroot has developed in the industry to place roles they may have open, or top rated candidates of rekroots’ to be placed in their roles. ● Client Experience: Manage the sales process from start to finish, ensuring that clients have a clear understanding of rekroot’s offerings and that their expectations are aligned with the high standards we set. 
Creative Outreach: Develop innovative strategies to initiate more conversations with potential clients and expand rekroot’s reach. 
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects, clients, and industry leaders. 
Consultative Selling: Understand clients' hiring challenges and offer rekroot’s suite of recruiting solutions, including AdHoc Recruiting and the PRIME Candidate Club. 
Market Research: Stay informed about trends, challenges, and opportunities in the financial services industry to position rekroot effectively. 
Pipeline Management: Use CRM tools to track and manage leads, follow-ups, and client interactions. 
Collaboration: Work closely with the recruiting, marketing teams and co-founders to align strategies and provide feedback from the field. 
Brand Advocacy: Represent rekroot at virtual industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities to raise awareness of our services.

Investment Operations 
Overview 
We're looking for an Investment Operations specialist to join our team. Whether you're looking for a change or  seeking to align with a stable, dependable firm, and you have a passion for insurance and investments, then  we believe there's no better place to work.
The functions of this role are to support the firm’s Investment Specialist in day-to-day operational duties, sharing  knowledge of investment-related products, and acting in a relationship-building capacity with the firm’s  Registered Representatives; and working closely with Home Office to implement and deliver on key initiatives.  While this role does not solicit the sale of insurance or investment products, it does require that you obtain and  maintain the FINRA Series 66 & Series 7 securities registrations. 
  
Essential Support Function 

Collaborate with the Investment Specialist to manage daily Firm activities and the investment calendar. • Become a subject matter expert in the paperwork processes and requirements of our broker-dealer, ensuring accurate and timely completion to streamline operations. • Facilitate comprehensive orientations and training for new Registered Representatives. • Support the recruitment efforts by assisting new Registered Representatives with business transitions. • Communicate procedural and practice management updates to ensure compliance with industry  standards. 
Be proficient in our systems and tools, not only by effectively using them yourself but also by training  and encouraging others to utilize them for maximum efficiency. 
Product Support 

Support the development of the brokerage and MMLIS Wealth Management Services (WMS) platforms  used in the Firm. 
Foster value-added relationships with external vendors and wholesalers. 
Assist in Firm campaigns designed to increase Gross Dealer Concession (GDC) production, contributing  to its growth and success. 
Coordinate and schedule product training sessions with wholesalers, ensuring that the team stays  updated with the latest offerings and market trends. 
Broker-Dealer Liaison 

Take an active role in implementing home office initiatives to ensure successful execution. • Collaborate with Home Office Investment Analysts to address challenges and find efficient  solutions. 
Foster partnerships and act as a process owner by providing valuable insights and ideas for business  submissions. 
Client Experience Responsibilities 

Coordinates meetings and meeting preparation requirements 
Reinforces consistent use and documentation of the appropriate factfinding tool, including the archiving  of all notes in the CRM 
Creates and distributes discovery notes and next steps after all prospect and client meetings • Follows up with prospects and clients on outstanding items
  
Relationship Management Responsibilities:  

Managing email as needed to include screening for required responses and follow-up • Managing calendar to include scheduling of meetings and travel, communicating with all parties, and  meeting confirmations 
Preparing written communications on behalf of senior leadership 
Supporting all pre and post meetings (agendas, background research, recaps) 
Serving as the liaison between the team and the group’s current and prospective brokers and/or clients  by providing high-touch and communication

In this role you will work closely with the  financial advisor in the preparation and implementation of financial plans. Gather information for financial advisor’s meeting with client/prospect 
Prepare and modify financial plans using our proprietary planning software ● Prepare and modify insurance illustrations 
IMPLEMENTATION 

Prepare all materials and information new clients need during onboarding ● Open and fund investment accounts and process investment service requests, such as funds disbursements, account transfers and trade correction requests 
Maintain open communication with clients throughout account opening and funding, answer any client questions 
Communicate with Home Office on complex transactions 
SUPPORT 

Learn the firm’s planning and investment philosophy. The candidate will continue to develop expertise in investing, advanced planning and insurance. 
Think creatively on ways to build the practice. 
Accompany the wealth management advisor in client meetings to help capture client situations and then be able to direct the necessary work with the internal team. ● The AWMA must ensure all processes for the client experience are executed and will lead with strong follow through. 
Identify planning opportunities as the client's needs evolve (or as the economy/market ● changes). 
Create an unmatched client experience. 
Ensure all client information is kept confidential while also tracking business in CRM systems, with 
case notes.
QUALIFICATIONS 

3-5+ years of financial planning experience required 
Series 7 and 66 required

Demonstrated management skills and desire/ability to work successfully in a small company team environment where it is expected that you will wear many hats with varied responsibilities

Proficiency in LaCerte, Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to operate CRM and other systems

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field

Certified Public Accountant license in California active and in good standing required.
